Love falls to earth, rises from the ground, pools around the afflicted. Love pulls people back to their feet. Bodies and souls are fed. Bones and lives heal. New blades of grass grow from charred soil. The sun rises.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
LOVE – The Greek word AGAPE; divine,unconditional, self sacrificing, active, a profoundly tender.
~Romans 12:10 – Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
~John 15:13 – No one has greater love than this: That one lay down his life for his friends.
~1Corinthians 16:14 – Let all your matters be done in love.
JOY – A very glad feeling; happiness ,delight, bliss, gladness, joyfulness.
~Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, rejoice.
~Psalm 126:5 – Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
PEACE – A state of harmony or the absence of hostility, freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety etc. tranquility.
~John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart troubled, neither let it be afraid.
~Ephesians 4:3 – Being diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace.
~Titus 3:2 – to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.
PATIENCE – Endurance of injury, trouble or provocation long’s suffering, diligence, perseverance, calmness.
~Psalm 37:7 – Be still before the LORD
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
~Lamentations 3:26 – it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.

KINDNESS – The quality of being warmhearted and considerate, humane and considerate, human and sympathetic.

FAITHFULNESS – True to one’s word, promises, vows, etc. Steady in allegiance or affection, loyal, constant.
~ Luke 16:10 – He who is faithful in the least is faithful also in much’ and he who is unrighteous in the least is unrighteous also in much.
~ Proverbs 28:20 – A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.
GENTLENESS – Considerate or kindly in disposition’ amiable and tender.
~ Philippians 4:5 – Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Ephesians 4:2 – Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
SELF-CONTROL – Control of one’s emotions’ desires, or actions by one’s own will.
~ 2 Timothy 1:7 – For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
~ 1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
