That beautiful season the Summer!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light;
And the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.”
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain,
the sound of wind in a primeval wood,
and the sound of outer ocean on a beach.
O for a summer noon,
when light and breeze
Sport on the grass,
like ripples o’er a lake
Alive with freshness!
when the full round Sun,
With the Creator’s smile upon his face,
Walks like a prince of glory through the path
Of Heaven!—Thou vast,
and ever-glorious sky,
Mantling the earth with thy majestic robe…
And I see God’s beautiful creations… Lord you are so Beautiful!!!
Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts.
Gratitude is the music of the heart, when its chords are swept by the breeze of kindness.
It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.
Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises, he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.”
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
for everyone born of God overcomes the world.
This is the victory that has overcome the world,
even our faith.
1 John 5:4
And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
